Dishloom Privacy Policy

Effective July 20, 2026

This policy explains how Dishloom (“Dishloom,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use our mobile applications, website, and related recipe services. Contact us at support@dishloom.com.

Information we collect

  • Account information: email address, display name, profile image, authentication provider, verification state, and account identifiers.
  • Kitchen content: recipes, ingredients, recipe sources, uploaded images, audio, video or documents, pantry items, meal plans, grocery lists, household memberships, and messages sent to recipe-assistance features.
  • Purchase information: product, entitlement, subscription status, renewal dates, and store transaction identifiers. Dishloom does not receive full payment-card numbers from Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or Stripe.
  • Technical and usage information: device and app details, diagnostics, crash reports, import job status, security events, and feature interactions.
  • Communications: support requests, feedback, and account emails.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate accounts; store, import, adapt, and organize recipes; generate plans and grocery lists; provide household sharing; process subscriptions; operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Dishloom; respond to support; and comply with law. Private recipe content is not sold or used for third-party advertising.

AI processing and recipe sources

Content you choose to import or submit may be sent to service providers that perform text, image, audio, or video processing for Dishloom. Only submit content you are authorized to use. AI-generated nutrition, allergen, timing, and substitution information can be inaccurate and should be reviewed before use.

Service providers and sharing

We share data only as needed to operate Dishloom, including with:

  • Firebase and cloud infrastructure providers for authentication, databases, storage, and delivery;
  • AI and media-processing providers used to understand and transform submitted recipe content;
  • RevenueCat, Apple, Google, and Stripe for purchases, subscription status, and billing;
  • Sentry and AppsFlyer for diagnostics, attribution, and product analytics;
  • email, support, and security providers; and
  • authorities or other parties when required by law, necessary to protect rights and safety, or involved in a business transaction subject to appropriate protections.

We require service providers to handle data under contractual and legal protections appropriate to the services they provide. Their own privacy notices may also apply where they interact with you directly.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and kitchen data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. When deletion is requested, account access is disabled immediately and associated service data is queued for permanent deletion. Limited records may be retained when required for legal compliance, payment records, fraud prevention, security, or the resolution of disputes. Store operators and payment providers retain their own transaction records under their policies.

Your choices and rights

You can update your profile, control notifications, download a JSON copy of your data, or delete your account from Settings. You may also use our web deletion instructions or email support. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal data.

Security, children, and international processing

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system is completely secure. Dishloom is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum digital-consent age in their country. Data may be processed in countries other than where you live, subject to applicable safeguards.

Changes

We may update this policy as Dishloom changes. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when required.
